Scarlett Johansson, American actress (born on the 22nd of November 1985 in New York City New York) is well-known for her acting abilities across genres such as the period dramas through thrillers to action adventures. Johansson lived within New York City as the daughter an architect and an executive from a production firm. Hunter is her twin sister, was also born in the city of New York. Her interest began in acting at a young age, and began auditioning for commercials at the age of seven. To enhance her abilities, she studied at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan followed by at the Professional Children's School. In the Off-Broadway production Sophistry she co-starred with Ethan Hawke. She then appeared in her first film with North (1994) which was produced by Rob Reiner, at age nine. Johansson was later seen in Just Cause (1995), her debut came with Manny & Lo a coming of age film about sisters running away. The Horse Whisperer (2000), in which she played a teenager with a deformity because of an accident earned an acclaim from critics. Then in Ghost World 2001 (as the young, sarcastic teenager Rebecca), Johansson gained an even greater amount of attention. She gained fame for her portrayal of Nell Jones on the CBS hit series NCIS Los Angeles. She's one of the major actors. In addition to her role in the show, she was also an actor on stage for a number of years. She has given stunning performances in shows like Wildflower. Renee Felice Smith was a child when she began her career in entertainment. She discovered her passion for performing as a child. Smith was offered her debut acting job at the young age of six, with her parents' help. She made a commercial for Dannon. Like many other actresses starting out, she chose to refine her craft in the world of theatre. In addition to other projects around the USA she made her stage debut with Wildflower. Her education was in The Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
