Laura Linney

Laura Linney, born February 5, 1964, in New York New York U.S.A. is an American actress known for portraying powerful, but fragile characters. Linney was born into the theatre of her family, with her father, Romulus Linney being a playwright. Linney graduated at Brown University in 1986 and then went on to study at the Arts Theatre School in Moscow as well as graduated in the Juilliard School (M.F.A.) New York City, 1990. The actress began performing on Broadway as soon as she arrived, and was later awarded the acclaim she received for her performances on Six Degrees of Separation (Six Degrees of Separation) and Hedda Galer.
